Stop motion/ timelapse research
The video Proteigon, from BURAYAN, and Sorry I'm Late, by Tomas Mankovsky, are videos I picked as example of timelapse videos from Vimeo. Both of these videos show originality and creativity within there planning. Proteigon is a short video showing a piece of paper turning into new shapes by the process of deception. The video Sorry I'm Late is about a guy's struggle to get to school after missing his bus shown in a neat and funny way.

Funny Face/animal photoshop research
With both of these pictures, i find that the level of creativity and skill are pretty high. With the top picture, I find it well done except you can see the traces of where the cut out was. With the second picture i find it significantly better, not only did they added a realistic looking but they also fixed the lighting.

Green Screen research
Maybe one Morning from mario brioschi on Vimeo. |
The clip Maybe One Morning is about a guy walking one morning and everything he walks pass starts to break apart and float away. The first half of the video, the publisher shows the views the finish product while the second half of the video is showing the process of photoshoping every frame and implying it to green screen. The quality of the video is amazing as if the animated components of the video was real and seeing the process of the editing is also amazing to watch.

video mash-up
I found the video mash-up Infocus Mash-up a great example of a video mashup. They managed to get a lot of different angles to make the video more enjoyable to watch. Also they shot clips during different times of day to add in different lighting to give a warm feeling for the video. Even though the stuns and the background of the video was great, the video was a bit to long.
